CERTIFICATION INFORMATION:
GoodCare respiratory therapist, Tim Good CRT, AE-C, RPFT is a Certified Asthma Educator.
The Asthma Educator certification was awarded by the National Asthma Education Certification Board (NAECB).
The NAECB is sanctioned by the US Department of Health and Human Services, Public Health Service, National Institutes of Health, and the Heart, Lung and Blood Institute.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
Goodcare performs individual patient consultations for Asthma patients. Patients can be accompanied by family members, particularly a pediatric patient’s parents.
The first consultation serves as an initial assessment of the patient’s condition and the development of an Asthma care program in collaboration with the patient’s physician. Follow-up consults will be based on the outcome of the initial evaluation of the patient and the recommendations of the patient’s physician. This service may be covered by your health insurance.
